ImageNet Consulting is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. What began with humble roots has grown into a thriving, multi-generational technology organization.
Founded by Bobby Roberson — a Marine, champion boxer, and entrepreneur — the company began as Southwest Typewriter, a small typewriter repair service. Over three generations of family ownership, it has evolved into a healthy, growing business technology company serving organizations across multiple markets. It is remarkable to reflect on how far the company has come over seven decades of dedication and innovation.
It is a tremendous honor to lead ImageNet Consulting. I have been fortunate to be mentored by my father-in-law, Tom Russell, throughout my 20-year journey with the company. Tom has always approached business with creativity, integrity, and a commitment to solving challenges in the simplest and most effective way possible. I was also mentored by Pat Russell during his tenure as CEO. Together, we navigated significant economic challenges and periods of uncertainty while continuing to grow the company. Pat remains a valued advisor and friend.
While I once envisioned starting my own business, I have found even greater fulfillment in continuing and building upon a legacy that means so much to me. My journey with ImageNet has been one of constant learning, growth, and leadership development. Though I am relatively new to the CEO role, I am honored to lead this organization into its next chapter.
2025 was a strong year for ImageNet, marked by revenue growth and healthy profitability across all service offerings. Each division continues to identify new opportunities and expand its impact. Looking ahead, our long-term vision is focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and expansion into emerging technologies. AI and robotics will play an increasingly important role in shaping our future. Technology is evolving faster than ever, and we are committed to staying ahead by becoming experts in the most innovative and transformative solutions available.
In the next decade, we anticipate surpassing revenue expectations as we continue our path toward becoming one of the leading business technology companies in the industry.
Today, ImageNet employs more than 550 team members. From its beginnings as a service company, our greatest strength has always been our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Our management team firmly believes that outstanding service is the foundation of sustainable growth and long-term success.
We would not be celebrating 70 years without the dedication, talent, and hard work of our employees — past and present. The ImageNet family is filled with individuals who take pride in their work and their role in the company’s success. This milestone belongs to them.

George Potochney is President of ImageNet Consulting of the Treasure Coast.
George Potochney is the owner and CEO of ImageNet Consulting of the Treasure Coast. In 2018, he launched the company’s IT Managed Services division through the acquisition of three local IT firms, strategically uniting them into a stronger, more comprehensive technology provider for the region.
Under his leadership, the company has grown to more than double its original size while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, security, and leading-edge business technology solutions. George’s leadership philosophy centers on accountability, empowerment, and delivering measurable value to clients.
An entrepreneur for more than 30 years, George has owned and operated multiple B2B technology companies across Florida and the Northeast. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Lehigh University.
Originally from Upstate New York, George has called Florida home since 1998 and remains deeply committed to serving businesses throughout the Treasure Coast.
